PADLR. Badges and Achievements: How to Earn Them All

Every match you play tells a story. Badges make sure no milestone goes unnoticed.

You just won your fifth match in a row. Your phone buzzes. Confetti explodes across your screen. A flash of gold. You've just earned a badge — and only 3% of players have it.

That moment isn't random. It's the PADLR. badge system doing what it was designed to do: recognising the things that matter in your padel journey and making sure you feel every single one of them.

Most padel apps track your matches. PADLR. celebrates them.

What are PADLR. badges?

Badges are achievements that unlock automatically as you play. You don't need to opt in, activate a challenge, or check a box. PADLR.'s backend monitors your match results, your milestones, and your progress in real time. When you hit a threshold — whether that's your first ever match or your hundredth win — the system recognises it instantly and awards you a badge.

Every badge has a name, a description, an icon, and a rarity tier. Some are common. Some are genuinely rare. A few are the kind of thing you'll see on someone's profile and think, how did they get that?

That's the point. Badges aren't participation trophies. They're proof of what you've done on court.

The five rarity tiers

Not all badges are created equal. PADLR. uses five rarity tiers to distinguish between everyday milestones and truly exceptional achievements. Each tier has its own visual styling, so you can tell at a glance how rare a badge is.

Common

These are your entry points. Logging your first match, completing your profile, playing your first doubles game. Common badges are designed to welcome you into the system and reward your earliest steps. Everyone earns them — and that's the idea. They're the foundation.

Uncommon

A step up. Uncommon badges require consistency and repetition. Think multiple matches in a week, hitting a match count milestone, or recording your first win streak. These are the badges that start to separate the casual players from the committed ones.

Rare

Now things get interesting. Rare badges demand sustained effort. Extended win streaks, significant rating milestones, or achievements that require a specific combination of results. When you see a rare badge on someone's profile, you know they've put in serious court time.

Legendary

Legendary badges are reserved for the kind of achievements most players will spend months chasing. These are the milestones that require exceptional consistency, skill, or dedication. Only a small fraction of the player base will ever earn them, and they carry a visual weight to match — think gold borders and prominent placement.

Epic

The rarest of the rare. Epic badges represent the peak of what's possible on PADLR. We're not going to spell out every unlock criteria here — discovering what it takes is part of the challenge. But if you see an Epic badge on someone's profile, you're looking at something fewer than 1% of players have achieved. Respect it.

Badge categories

Badges span several categories, each targeting a different dimension of your padel life. Here's a taste of what's out there.

Milestones

These track the big numbers. Your first match. Your tenth. Your fiftieth. Your hundredth. Milestones are the backbone of the badge system — simple, satisfying markers of how far you've come. The further you go, the rarer they get.

Achievements

Achievement badges reward specific accomplishments. Win streaks are a big one — stringing together five consecutive victories feels different from winning five matches spread across a month, and the badge system reflects that. There are also achievements tied to your rating, recognising when you break through to a new level on the 0-7 scale. Climbing from a 2.5 to a 3.0 is a real moment, and PADLR. treats it like one.

Challenges

Challenge badges push you to play differently. Try new formats. Face opponents above your rating. Play on consecutive days. These badges exist to nudge you out of your comfort zone — because that's where improvement happens. Some of the most interesting badges in the system live in this category, and we've deliberately kept the unlock criteria hidden for a few of them. Part of the fun is figuring out what triggers them.

And more

We're not revealing every category here. Some badges are tied to social features, some to specific in-app actions, and some to things you won't expect. The badge system is designed to surprise you. Keep playing and you'll keep discovering.

What happens when you earn a badge

This is where PADLR. goes beyond a simple notification.

When you unlock a badge, you get a full-screen celebration overlay. The badge appears centre-screen with its rarity styling — bronze, silver, gold, or something even more striking for the top tiers. Particle effects and confetti fill the screen. It's not subtle, and it's not meant to be. You earned something. The app makes sure you feel it.

If you earn a badge mid-session — say you're browsing the feed or checking the leaderboard when a match result confirms — you'll get a toast notification that slides in without interrupting what you're doing. Tap it to see the full celebration. The system is smart enough to know when to go big and when to stay out of your way.

The rarest badge you've earned gets the most prominent treatment. If you unlock a Legendary badge, it doesn't just appear in a list — it takes over the screen. The rarity of the moment matches the rarity of the badge.

Your badge showcase

Every badge you earn appears in your badge gallery on your profile. The gallery displays your badges in a grid, each one styled with rarity-based borders — gold edges for Legendary, distinct visual treatments for each tier. Badges you haven't earned yet appear as locked, showing you exactly what the unlock criteria are so you always know what to chase next.

But the gallery isn't just for you. Other players can see it too.

Your profile badge showcase highlights your most impressive badges front and centre. PADLR. automatically sorts by rarity, so your hardest-earned achievements are the first thing someone sees when they visit your profile. It's your padel CV — a visual record of everything you've accomplished, curated to show the best of what you've done.

There's also a badge detail sheet for every badge in the system. Tap any badge — yours or someone else's — and you'll see the full description, the unlock criteria, and the percentage of players who currently hold it. That holders percentage is live. As more players join PADLR., the percentages shift. A badge that 10% of players hold today might drop to 5% in six months. Rarity isn't static — it's earned and maintained by the growing community.

Tips for badge hunting

If you want to fill out your badge gallery, here are some strategies that will accelerate your progress.

Play consistently. Many badges reward sustained activity rather than single bursts. Playing three matches a week will unlock more badges over time than playing ten matches in one weekend and disappearing for a month. The system notices consistency.

Build streaks. Win streaks are some of the most satisfying badges to earn, and they require you to bring your best game to every match. Don't dodge tough opponents — beating them is how streaks become meaningful. A five-match win streak against evenly-matched opponents is worth far more than beating the same beginner five times.

Challenge higher-rated players. Some of the most rewarding badges are tied to upsets and rating breakthroughs. If you're a 2.8 and you beat a 3.5, you've done something noteworthy — and the badge system knows it. Seek out matches that push you.

Try different formats. Don't just play the same format every time. Mix in Best of 1, Best of 3, and different partner combinations. Several badges are tied to variety — playing across formats and with different partners unlocks achievements you'd never trigger in a routine.

Check your locked badges. Your badge gallery shows you exactly what you haven't earned yet, including the criteria. Use it as a roadmap. If you're two matches away from a milestone badge, that's your motivation for the week.

Keep an eye on holders percentages. If a badge shows only 5% of players have it, you know you're chasing something special. The lower the percentage, the bigger the bragging rights.

What's coming next

The current badge system is just the beginning. After launch, we're rolling out seasonal challenges — time-limited badge opportunities tied to specific goals that refresh on a regular cadence. Think monthly challenges that push you to play a certain number of matches, hit a target win rate, or try something new.

Weekly goals are also on the roadmap. These will be shorter, more focused objectives that give you a reason to open the app every week and stay engaged with your padel progress. Complete the weekly goal, earn the badge. Miss it, and it's gone until next time.

Seasonal and weekly badges will have their own rarity tiers and visual styling, so your badge gallery will grow into a living timeline of your padel journey — not just what you've achieved, but when you achieved it.

Why badges matter

There are other padel apps with achievement systems. Some offer gamified progression. Some track milestones. But none of them integrate badges with a real rating system and a social feed the way PADLR. does.

When you earn a badge on PADLR., it's not an isolated event. Your badge showcase sits on the same profile as your rating, your match history, and your leaderboard position. Badges add context to your numbers. A 3.5 rating is impressive — but a 3.5 rating with a Legendary win streak badge and a rating breakthrough achievement tells a much richer story.

That's the difference. Badges on PADLR. aren't stickers. They're evidence.

Every match counts

The best thing about PADLR.'s badge system is that you never know exactly when the next one is coming. You might be one match away from a milestone you forgot about. You might trigger a hidden achievement you didn't know existed. You might string together a streak that lands you in the top 3% of players.

Every match is a chance to unlock something new.

Download PADLR. when it launches in Spring 2026 and start building your badge collection from day one. The earlier you start, the rarer your earliest badges become.
