This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you ("User") and Rebel Lion Labs ("we", "us", or "our") for the use of the PADLR mobile application ("App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 16 years of age to use the App. We verify your age when you create an account.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download, install, and use the App on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to this EULA and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
You agree not to:
The App allows you to submit match results, profile information, comments, reactions, messages, and other content ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, display, and distribute your User Content within the App for the purpose of operating the service.
You are solely responsible for your User Content. You agree not to submit content that is offensive, abusive, defamatory, discriminatory, illegal, or that violates any third party's rights. We may remove User Content that violates this EULA. Where we do, you receive a statement of reasons and may appeal, as described in our Terms of Service.
The App calculates skill ratings using an algorithmic system. Ratings are generated automatically based on match results and are not guaranteed to reflect absolute playing ability. You acknowledge that ratings may fluctuate and that we are not responsible for any consequences arising from your displayed rating.
A match naming other registered players affects no one's rating until it is confirmed by a named participant or the confirmation period elapses.
The App includes direct and group messaging. Messages are not end-to-end encrypted. We do not routinely monitor private messages, but we may access and act on message content where necessary to investigate a report, comply with the law, or protect users.
The App also records attendance at booked matches. Failing to attend matches you have joined may result in a reliability signal on your profile and restrictions on joining future bookings.
The App may offer subscription plans ("PADLR Pro") and other in-app purchases. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings. Refund requests must be directed to Apple.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using the App, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
The App and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are owned by Rebel Lion Labs and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The PADLR name, logo, and associated branding are trademarks of Rebel Lion Labs.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App for conduct that we believe violates this EULA, is harmful to other users, or is otherwise objectionable. This includes, but is not limited to, match manipulation, win-trading, abusive behaviour, or repeated profanity violations.
Except where we are legally prevented from doing so, we will tell you what we have done and why, and you may appeal as described in our Terms of Service.
You may delete your account at any time from within the App under Settings. Account deletion is subject to a 30-day grace period as described in our Privacy Policy.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Nothing in this EULA excludes or limits any right you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of your country of residence.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rebel Lion Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the App.
Nothing in this EULA limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rebel Lion Labs and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your User Content, or your violation of this EULA. This does not apply where you are acting as a consumer.
We reserve the right to modify this EULA. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised EULA. The version number and date at the top of this page reflect the most recent revision.
This EULA shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply.
When using the App, you must comply with any applicable third-party terms of agreement, including your wireless data service agreement.
If any provision of this EULA is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
