How to Log a Padel Match, Book a Game, and Track Every Score in PADLR.

Every padel player has been there. You just won a thriller — three sets, two tiebreaks, a match you'll talk about for weeks. But by the time you get home, the exact scores are already fuzzy. Was it 7-5 or 7-6 in that second set? Did the tiebreak finish 7-4 or 7-5? The moment fades. The details slip away. And without a record, that incredible match might as well have never happened.

Now imagine the opposite. You walk off the court, pull out your phone, and in thirty seconds the entire match is logged — score, opponent, venue, everything. Your rating updates. Your friends see the result in their feed. Reactions start rolling in. That match lives on, not just in your memory, but in your stats, your history, and your climb up the leaderboard.

That's what PADLR. does. It's a padel match app built for players who care about their game and want a real, verified record of every match they play. By the end of this guide, you'll know every way to record a padel score, book a padel match, and never lose a result again.

Two Ways to Record a Match

Open the Matches tab (the center button at the bottom of your screen) and tap "+ New Match" in the top-right corner. You'll see two options:

On most platforms, logging a match means filling out a long form with dropdowns, text fields, and guesswork. PADLR. does it in 30 seconds with smart defaults that remember how you play. Both flows follow a simple two-step process. Let's walk through each one.

Logging a Match

Use this when you've just finished playing and want to record your padel score while it's still fresh.

Step 1: The Match

This is where you enter who played and what happened.

Pick your format

Start by selecting Singles or Doubles, then choose Competitive or Friendly. PADLR. remembers your last selection, so if you always play competitive doubles, it'll be pre-filled next time. No re-entering the same settings every session — the app learns how you play.

Add your players

Tap the "+" icons to add players:

Search by name to find registered PADLR. users. If your opponent isn't on the app yet, you can invite them via a share link — their name still gets recorded for the match.

Enter the score

This is the fun part. You'll see an interactive scoreboard grid with columns for each set and rows for each team.

You can choose Best of 1, 3, or 5 sets, and 4 or 6 games per set. Made a mistake? Hit Undo to step back.

Once the score is complete and all players are added, tap "Next" to move on.

Step 2: Add Details

Everything on this step is optional — you can skip straight to posting if you want.

When you're ready, tap "Submit".

What Happens Next

You'll see a success screen confirming your match has been logged. Here's what's going on behind the scenes — and this is where PADLR. really earns its place as a padel results app you can trust:

  1. Your opponent gets notified — They'll receive a push notification asking them to confirm the result
  2. The match appears on the feed — Your followers (and your opponents' followers) see it in their feed. Reactions start rolling in.
  3. Ratings are calculated — PADLR.'s Bayesian rating engine processes both teams' ratings based on the result, score margin, and relative skill levels. This isn't a simple win/loss counter — it weighs every factor for an accurate, fair rating.
  4. A 48-hour confirmation window starts — Your opponent can confirm or dispute the result within this window

Unlike self-reported platforms where anyone can claim a win, PADLR. requires your opponent to confirm the result. That confirmation system, backed by built-in manipulation detection, is what keeps ratings honest and trustworthy. More on this below.

Booking a Match

Want to schedule a game in advance? This is PADLR.'s padel booking app flow — and it's tightly connected to score entry so you never have to re-enter match details after you play.

Step 1: Set It Up

Pick your format

Same as logging — Singles or Doubles, Competitive or Friendly.

Choose a venue

Tap "Select Venue" to browse clubs in your city. This is required for bookings since other players need to know where to show up.

Set the date and time

Pick when you're playing. The time defaults to the next whole hour from now.

Add players (optional)

You can add specific players now, or leave slots open for others to join later. The slot counter in the corner (like "1/4" for doubles) shows how many spots are filled.

Open slots make your booking visible in the Discover tab, where nearby players can browse and join with a single tap.

Challenging someone? If you tapped "Challenge" on another player's profile, they're automatically added as your opponent. You'll see a "Challenging [Name]" label at the top.

Rematching? If you tapped "Rematch" from a previous match, all the players from that match are pre-filled. You can still add or remove anyone.

Tap "Next" when you're set.

Step 2: Match Details

All optional — fine-tune to your liking or skip ahead.

Tap "Create Match" and you're done.

What Happens Next

Your booking is live. Here's what you and others can do with it:

As the host, you can edit or cancel the booking at any time. Cancelling notifies all joined players.

Joined players can withdraw if plans change — their slot re-opens for others.

After the Booked Match: Logging the Score

Other apps treat booking and results as separate things. You book on one screen, then start from scratch when you want to record the score. PADLR. connects them — book a padel match, play it, and your score entry is pre-filled from the booking.

Once your booked match's scheduled time passes, it moves into an "Awaiting Result" state. You'll see:

Tap any of these and you'll land in the same score entry flow as logging a match — except everything is pre-filled for you. The players, venue, format, and match settings are already loaded from the booking. All you need to do is enter the score and hit submit.

It's padel score entry at its simplest: tap, type the numbers, done.

Match Confirmation: Keeping It Fair

Every logged match goes through a confirmation process to make sure both sides agree on the result. This is a core part of how to track padel matches accurately — and it's what separates PADLR. from platforms where results are unverified.

For the Opponent

When someone logs a match with you in it, you'll get a notification. Open it and you'll see the match details with two options:

You can also confirm or dispute directly from your Notification History — no need to navigate to the match first.

The 48-Hour Window

You have 48 hours to respond. If you don't take any action within that window, the match auto-confirms and ratings are applied automatically. This prevents matches from sitting in limbo forever and keeps the system moving.

For the Poster

After you log a match, you'll see a "Pending Confirmation" status. Once your opponent confirms, the status updates to "Confirmed" and your rating change is locked in. If they dispute, you'll be notified.

You can delete a pending match if you made an error — but only before it's been confirmed.

Why This Matters

The confirmation system isn't just a formality. Combined with PADLR.'s manipulation detection, it ensures that every confirmed match is legitimate. The Bayesian rating engine that processes your results is only as good as the data it receives — and the confirmation step keeps that data clean. When you see a player's rating on PADLR., you can trust it reflects real, verified matches.

Smart Defaults: PADLR. Remembers

You'll notice that PADLR. remembers your preferences across matches. If you always play competitive doubles at your local club on the right side of the court, you won't have to re-enter that every time. The app saves your last selections for:

This is what makes it possible to log a padel match in under 30 seconds. The fewer taps between "I just played" and "it's recorded," the better. PADLR. is designed to stay out of your way and let you get back to what matters — playing.

Your Matches Tab at a Glance

The Matches tab is your home base for everything related to padel match recording and scheduling. It's split into two views:

At the top, a quick stat row shows: - This Week — Matches scheduled in the current week - Upcoming — Total upcoming matches - Played — Total completed matches

Everything you need to check your schedule or review past results, one tap away.

Quick Reference: The Match Lifecycle

Here's the journey a match takes from start to finish:

Logged Match:

You play -> Log the score -> Opponent gets notified -> They confirm (or it auto-confirms after 48h) -> Ratings update -> Match appears on feed

Booked Match:

You create a booking -> Players join -> Match time arrives -> You get a reminder -> Log the score -> Opponent confirms -> Ratings update -> Match appears on feed

Either way, the end result is the same: an accurate record of your match, fair rating updates for everyone involved, and a post your followers can react to and comment on. Submit the score and watch your rating update in real time. Reactions start rolling in. Every match counts, every score is captured, every result is verified.
